Disable create news from SharePoint home in Office 365
Is there any way to disable of hide the new "+ Create News Post" from the SharePoint Home? I tried looking for an option on the SharePoint Admin settings and found nothing there. This is a great feat...
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, there is not way to disable this option...at least currently
Even the lowest level license (F1) now have the option to create a new post on the Sharepoint Home Page. This could open up the flood gates to non approved news posts being published. Hopefully a solution will be release to disable this feature because it's a huge miss on the Sharepoint Project team to assume all users should be able to create a news post.
- Any news on this - is the conclusion that there is nothing to be done here - the button can not be removed ?
