Disable create news from SharePoint home in Office 365
You could just change the permissions on the SharePoint site is that not what you mean?
Thank's for both your answers, I'm referring to this link. We don't use sitepages since our sites are classic for now. We have hundreds of site collections and most users are owners or members of these sites... maybe disabling the sitepages feature is an option?

Even the lowest level license (F1) now have the option to create a new post on the Sharepoint Home Page. This could open up the flood gates to non approved news posts being published. Hopefully a solution will be release to disable this feature because it's a huge miss on the Sharepoint Project team to assume all users should be able to create a news post.
I'm looking for a way to remove this button from the modern Sharepoint Home Page. This was recently added (the week of 1/15/2018) for all users. I need to be able to disable this option for all users.
