Disable Content on a SharePoint site to be searchable
Hi Everyone,
I would like to ask if I choose option no of indexing site Content that will Disable the content of the Sharepoint Site to be searchable from the Windows search box.

Hi MoBaju,
disabling indexing of site content in SharePoint will prevent the content from appearing in SharePoint's search results, but it won't directly affect the Windows search box.
This is because SharePoint has its own search indexing and search engine, which is separate from the Windows search functionality.
