Determine who enabled external sharing on site
How can we determine who enabled external sharing on a spo site collection? this event is not in the audit log (which surprises me)
You can def. do through Audit Log search. It's Site Administration activites > Changed a sharing policy. Just tested it, works fine. Remember these only go back so far, they announced to extend it recently, but I think from 30 or 60 to 90 days for E3. Anyway, it should be in there if it's not, then it happened long ago.
Thanks, that was my first instinct but when I look at log it just show that the Tenant level policy was changed 10 days ago and does not identify any changes for each specific site. I was expecting to see an entry for each and every site that got changed when the overall policy changed
- Ahh, gotcha, based from your other post. Yeah those inherit, I just don't know how to tell which do and which don't :P
