Deploying a SPFx webpart to the production environment

Hi

 

Do I have to deploy a SPFx web part to an Azure CDN or an Office 365 CDN  when I deploy the SPFx webpart to a production environment ?

 

Or if I have a small site could I just deploy it to the App Catalog ?
