Custom Script Settings Still Needed for Copying feature from OneDrive to SharePoint?

When the copy to SharePoint from OneDrive and copy from SharePoint to SharePoint (by far one of my favorite features of all time) first came out we had turn off allowing custom scripts on "personal sites" and "self-service" sites.

Are these site type still active? Are "personal sites" OneDrive for Business? And self-service site creation, is that O365 Group Sites? or if you enable "Create a site"?

Is it still necessary to disable custom scripts to allow the copy feature to work?
