Custom fonts in SharePoint not working on my tenant (Brand center)

I'm trying to use the brand center to configure custom fonts and themes on my sites but it appears as the setup was not finished properly or something like that as I can't set custom fonts. I tried ...

Hello Mane2311 

 

the brand center setup will be identified your existing site containing the organization asset libraries that your brand center site will use. Maybe you can create a new or delete the existing and creating a new site as an organisation asset library. Try it on your dev.

Mane2311​ is correct in the assumption - when you have an existing site using private/public CDN and font-library specified on the existing site -  the brand center functionality will not deploy necessary content types or add these to the fonts library - I have the same issue and need to know what would be next steps

To me it looks like I have to create a brand new brand center

but will removing org-assets be enough to get to add a new brand center? or will the old site have to be deleted (which I cannot do)?
