creating a new sharepoint site
I simply want to create a new sharepoint-site without having to go through Teams.
I work in a very large organization, with multiple subdivisions. The main division has a landing page which is thus not the normal sharepoint homepage where I can create a site. The same for my subdivision.
How do I get to the page where I can create a new site?

it's depends on the admin settings. When it's not activated, you can't create an new site from SharePoint sites:
When you have access to the SharePoint Admin Center, you can create a new site, under other options you can create a team site not groups conntected:
