Create Simple List of Websites
I cannot seem to do something so simple in SP. I need to create a list of URLs that are clickable. I tried a basic custom list, but the URLs aren't clickable. I tried the Quick Links webparts, but...
If I just ignore the message it seems I can open the links. I was just puzzled by the message thinking I had to modify permissions on the list for the sites.
Yea the warning is letting you know mainly because people will link usually to other SharePoint sites, so they are warning you saying, make sure your users of your site you are adding this too, also have access to the link you are adding.
Otherwise you will get support tickets and it's not good UI design :). But yeah, it's just trying to remind you as a user that just because they have a link there doesn't mean they can access what's on the other end.
