Create modern team site as subsite
Environment: Office365, SharePoint online
I am able to see Modern Team Site template while creating a subsite. My Question is when I create a modern team site under any modern team site as subsite, will it create another office 365 group behind the scenes or it is just a site with modern features?
- It only creates a team site, not group connected site, those must be root site collection sites.

- I am not able to find any office group associated with subsite name. Is this expected behavior?
