I have created something similar before.
Before we dive into details, here are some questions:
Do you need a record that shows what score they gave the product? For example:
User 1 voted (2/10), user 2 voted (8/10)? Or could it be that there is a total score of 15, with three users voted. So that the value can be calculated by dividing the score with the amount of colleagues that have voted?
Does the solution require some feedback, sending emails or approval of any kind?
Will you need to handle the risk of users putting in another username?
- isotop94Oct 13, 2020Brass ContributorFor me personally it would be sufficient to get a simple counter upvote button. We dont need any feedback for users. Only problem would be that a single user can upvote multiple items but only for one time.
Guess lists isnt quite there yet or maybe we need to combine a frontend (user input and upvoting) with a backend (leaderbord of most upvoted ideas).
