Connect to Outlook not available in Modern SharePoint
Our company has been using this function for years and it has been a crucial part of our SharePoint and Outlook experience. Since we've moved from Classic to Modern SharePoint, the option is no longer there for our contact lists. Is there any way to get it back? I've even tried adding the 'contacts' app to one of the site collections that is still classic and the option is still not there. (also set the classic site list to show in the 'classic experience).

Terry_McCullagh - thank you! Unfortunately, these were the first steps I tried. I even tried creating a 'contacts app' in a few Team Sites 'classic experience' and cannot get it to work. I can get the app installed, but the top menu doesn't change to the 'old' experience when I set the list experience to 'classic'.

Hi,
I just looked at the list used in the video and the ribbon is present when viewing the list in classic view - I wonder if it is a browser cache issue - could you try incognito or InPrivate depending on the browser?
