Conditional Dates

Does SharePoint 2013 Lists have the ability to do conditional dates? I would like users when they select specific items, dates populate based on their selection. I would think this is under the conditional category but if you have done this before, please let me know.  For instance, an Item start dates will populate based on the selection and the due date will populate to be due 7 days later automatically. That sort of idea.
