Compact List View in Modern SharePoint List

I had seen mention of a compact list view for modern lists (think first saw in ignite presentation, now only see in this article - https://www.jasperoosterveld.com/2017/09/office-365-update-list-view-for-onedrive-and-sharepoint/).  This feature never seems to have hit our tenant.  Was this feature rolled out?
