CommandBar_edit instead of Edit button
I have a strange thing on the introduction page of one of my sites. All the buttons seem to be in programming language :
CommandBar_edit instead of Edit
CommandBar_NewPage instead of NewPage
etc
I created a subsite and there all the buttons are normal. I have no idea what I did to change the vieuw of the buttons but it is rather difficult to work with.
I modified Regional Settings from French back to English (US) and it's now fixed...and in French !!

I do not understand what you did exactly. Did is solve the problem with the CommandBar_edit of the message about the site being supposedly edited by myself as if I were somebody else?
Also, the site keeps telling me it is being modified by myself and that I have to try later ... This is of course not what I want. I attach an example of the message (in Dutch but I suppose that people may recognize the form of the message)
The problem with the site being modified is solved. The home page was checked out by the systemmanager, which I was at the time the site was created. I tried to delete the group involved and will try to delete the site completely.
Same issue on my Teams Sharepoint !
