Columns names SharePoint lists

I have made a SharePoint list.

Then I made some edits in an columnname. After this edit I can see the change, but other members of this site see still the old name of this column. What do I have to do to make a change that all users can see the new name of this column?

  • mknoppert75 Did you rename the display name of columns? Changes to column names should be immediately available to other users. Can you add screenshots what changes you made?

Can you confirm with users if they are looking at correct list? Try clearing browser cache/cookies once to see the changes.

      Thank you for your answer.

Yes I deleted cookies etc. And I am looking at the right list. I can test is with my admin and personal account.

In the settings of the list I changed the Column name to the new name.

mknoppert75 Strange issue! column name changes should be available to other users immediately.

Try below to see if issue can be reproduced with other columns/lists:

        1. Creating new column in list and renaming it
        2. Creating another list and renaming any one column in it
