Choice column problem - new experience
Choice column. Drop down Menu. Not required and no default value. In classic experience user tabs to the column which starts with no choice. They can use the arrow keys to cycle through choices...

Thanks for the speedy reply.
It does work, but the customer does not want to deal with unwanted entries which is a high likelihood with the users. Still good to know if no one else has a solution.
Forgot to post there is not a problem with checkboxes (allow multiple selections) .

CatherineB Is there harm in setting up an N/A option for default selection? It's not what I'd call graceful, but it does give your users a way out of making a selection.
*Edit* Didn't see that you already had an idea for a no-meaning default selection. I'd throw my vote behind going that route.

Yes, that is a direction I will be going though it is good to know Allow Fill In Choice works too.
