Checkbox: "Add this app to App Store"

Does anyone know what this checkbox actually does?

Whenever I add an app to SharePoint Online via the SharePoint Store, the last step in the process has a checkbox called "Add this app to App Store". Seems that regardless if I leave it unchecked (the default) or check it, nothing is different. The app still appears as "add-able" for all users. Is this option supposed to do anything?
