Chat Web Parts for Team Sites on Sharepoint Online

Is anyone aware of, or know if, there is an intention to create webparts for Teams chats/groups, or some other sort of messaging application? Currently, only Yammer is available as a web part add in for a team home page, but our organization doesn't use Yammer, only Teams, SfB and Outlook.

If we could have a chat web part, where live conversations could happen on the team home page - it would be great!
