Chapters in video files
Hi,
I uploaded some MP4 files to our SharePoint and embedded them on a SharePoint website. These video files contain chapter markers which can be used e.g. by VLC.
Can SharePoint handle chapters as well or is there any dirty workaround to jump to specific timestamps in the video?

FabvE We always use Microsoft Stream to display videos (https://web.microsoftstream.com/ ). It's an Office 365 app specifically designed for this and you can add timestamps to the description to give you chapters. Then you can use the Stream web part to add the video to your SharePoint page and it displays the timestamps/chapters as clickable links. The performance, user experience and features are better than uploading directly to a SharePoint library.

Can you help me getting to the last step?
I am able to add the stream video to Sharepoint but no text is added, just the video
JFRoque It doesn't add the chapters automatically, you need to type in the minutes & seconds in the of when each chapter starts, e.g. 13:48, and the text you want and it turns the minutes & seconds into a clickable link. You can either type or paste this into the description field while you are uploading the video...
...or you can edit the settings afterwards and add it there.
