I had the same problem.
I have fix it by making a new channel with the same name as the folder. Than delete the channel. After that it is well posible to delete the folder.

Nice work! Ruben_Jobse
- keijuSep 26, 2022Copper ContributorI´m in the same situation. How does this work? Creating a new channel in the same group feels like reverting to the original situation.
I want both the private channel and it's sharepoint site gone.
How did you do it exactly?
Thanks in advance.- JGibbs2400Sep 26, 2022Copper Contributor
I had to recreate the channel, then delete it keiju
- BugsnotbunnyOct 07, 2022Copper ContributorThanks for this idea Ruben. Off of this I decided to try renaming the folder. That worked. I just renamed the folder and the delete option came up. Hope this helps someone save some time!
- Ioannis_LNov 16, 2022Copper Contributorlegend! thanks for the fix!
- Tony_D320Dec 20, 2022Copper ContributorThank you Ruben_Jobse.
So relieved to find the solution.
Indeed some folders have been created by creating a channel. Sometimes if you copy those folders to another sharepoint, it won't let you modify because they are missing their twin channel. - Ellya_GoldJan 12, 2023Brass ContributorBest and simplest solution! Many thanks.
