Changing the sort order of a lookup field

Hi SharePointers,

I am using Office 365, and SharePoint online.  I am using a custom list and I have a lookup field that displays the title field in alphabetical order.  I'd rather it display in date order, which is in the lookup list.

Any thoughts or solutions?
