changing name of wiki page without changing URL
Does anyone know how to change the name of a wiki page title so that it appears in the browser tab with the desired name? I tried the "rename the page" option but that resulted in also changing the URL...which I do not want.

- You need to change the 'Title' field not the 'Name' field. Not sure what type of site you have, Enterprise Wiki site?? if, so go to Site Content, the page library, then edit the pages properties from there and you can change the [Title] field.
It is a collaboration team site. I do not appear to have the title field as an option. The pages that I am trying to change the title on are in the Site Pages folder, and when I click on edit properties of the page, the only property that appears is "name". Screen prints below.
- Sorry i have just checked our on-prem SharePoint and it does appear that you cannot edit the Title of the page! I was in O365 SharePoint. sorry.
