Changing Modern Site Icons

- You should be able to change group icons from outlook on the web, which should then sync to the teamsite.

I also though it should too. Waited 24hr after I changed icon in group, when it didnt I started looking for another way.
Doesn't seem to work, you're right. However, you can just set the site icon like you typically would. This is the direct link which works just fine.
https://XXXXXX.sharepoint.com/sites/XXXXX/_layouts/15/prjsetng.aspx
It's the best we have now.
- It's working quite well for me...just changed the logo in a group some minutes ago and the change was also reflected in the group site
