Change IP Sharepoint Server
Hi Sharepoint Team!
I have a question about Sharepoint All in One Server.
The requirement is to change the server IP without losing its connection to farm .
Please let me know if there are any way to achieve this requirement

- This is something you should do off hours.
When you make the IP change, it may take time for DNS to update properly. While the server you change the address on will only have a short period of downtime (usually in the 1 - 5 second range), it will be able to maintain connections to other servers, but any server that references the server you're changing will need to wait for DNS to properly update. This should generally be a matter of minutes, at most.- Vu Manh TaiCopper ContributorHi Trevor!
i setup server sharepoint all in one, which containing : DNS server , Domain Controller, Sharepoint Farm, WebApplication. Below here are my steps to configure:
1. Change this server's ip => the Webapp display error: "cannot connect to farm".
2. I run sharepoint wizard and it asks me to "disconnect to farm".
3. I try to insert both the old and new IP in Sharepoint Wizard but unable to connect
=> Per my configuration- This All in one server also the "Farm".
Is there a way to reconnect to the farm?
Thanks in advance.- Is this a dev farm? This is an unsupported configuration. Because it is a DC, you also need to update the TCP/IP bindings of the NIC to point DNS itself and verify DNS is listening on the same IP address you changed the server to.
