When sharing files with people outside our organisation, is it possible to have the “allow editing” function turned off as default?&nbsp;&nbsp;

Pn1995&nbsp;That is definitely possible. It's a setting in the SharePoint Admin Center, under Policies --&gt; Sharing. Scroll to the File and Folder links section and select View instead of Edit.&nbsp;
