Cannot update Hub Site Navigation
You can edit the hub site navigation by browsing to either the Site Contents page or a document library. Apparently a fix for the issue will be rolling out soon. A week or two ago there was an issue with the inability to change the hub site theme and the above was the suggested workaround.
It could be due to an incorrect link address.
When you have entered an incorrent link address you can still hit OK in the 'Add' menu and then hit the save button to save the navigation menu. However, it doesn't really save your edits. It won't generate an error either.
You'll know that your changes are not actually saved because the 'Edit hub navigation' panel won't dissapear after you hit the save button and you won't find your edits in the navigation menu.
Try to enter a valid link address (for example https://www.microsoft.com and see if that does save the menu accordingly. If so, then you know it's due to a faulty link address.
