Cannot share a classic SharePoint calendar with External Users

Question

&nbsp;Hello,&nbsp;We are on SharePoint Online classic site.&nbsp;I have a Site Collection configured to allow External Sharing with authenticated users (SharePoint Admin Center).&nbsp;The external sharing works fine when I share the whole site.The external sharing works fine when I share the default "Documents" library.&nbsp;But I get the following error message when trying to share a SharePoint Calendar:&nbsp;Both the Documents and Calendar at are the site collection root level.Any idea of what might go wrong?&nbsp;Thanks in advance,&nbsp;Ps: Using the O365 Group shared calendar is not an option because Exchange Online is not activated for our tenant.

Strange, if you are able to share a document library, you should be able to share any other list in your site

That's what I expected, but apparently not the case...I tried with another Site Collection and I have the same behavior.

...And I have the same behavior when using a Task List as well.
On the other hand no problem when I create and share a new Document Library.

Attached the site collection & sharing settings, for me it seems ok.

Hello Benoit,Have you tried creating a SharePoint group and granting access to the user using that group instead?It could be done by using 'Create Group' button in ribbon by going to Site Settings-&gt; Site Permissions.Since, you want to grant access to just the calendar, do not specify the group permissions while creating it. Once, the new group is created, add the user to the group and grant the group correct level of access to the calendar.Hopefully, it will be helpfulThank you.Bhavpreet Bains
