Cannot see or edit the properties of documents within a document set

I think I may have resolved this issue this morning. I went into my documents set settings and noticed that the allowed content types was empty, I'm not sure if somebody has messed around with it. I put my Design Review Sheet and Design Document content types back into the document set settings and the properties appear again now. Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone experiences this issue.
ClaireT20 i am having the same issue with editing all properties on a file where i only get the spinning wheel. Can you please provide the steps to get this resolved? e.g. which settings did you go into as i cannot find the allowed content type settings.
