Can you disable the new unified search box in the suite bar?
I've seen that a new search box is rolling out across Office 365 that appears in the suite bar. Is it possible to disable this (temporarily)? Our Intranet solution already has a bespoke search box at...
- Jul 25, 2019I don't that will be possible. MS has been working on standardizing/consolidating all of the different search box locations. I would recommend disabling yours as soon as possible. You will also want to spend some time with the new Microsoft Search features, see https://resources.techcommunity.microsoft.com/microsoft-search/

Thanks Dean_Gross, that was my suspicion. I just was hoping their might be a way to turn it off if only to buy us a bit more time. We're not sure exactly when the new search box will appear in our tenant.
