Can we open (docx) files directly in Web Layout view mode form SharePoint online search results page
- In SharePoint Online Custom search, search results appear in (.doc x) format want to open that directly in Web Layout view mode instead of normal view mode,
the functionality which is available when we open it in local word "web layout" is that possible ?

not sure, but here are a lot of paramters for documents. You can use it in custom search templates:
The actions are also interesting:
- Edit
- View
- Embedview
You can use the action as additional parameter in URLs:
&action=view
