Can no longer drag images to upload to a SharePoint News Post.

We used to be able to drag an image or video from the computer desktop to the SharePoint page to upload the image as a web part. This no longer works. I have tried two different MacOS computers on both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers.  

Please let me know if this is an isolated issue or if there's something I need to do to resolve this as it's an incredible important function for our organization to utilize.
