Can News/Announcements thumbnails be automatically resized?

Hello, is there a way to have the News thumbnails always auto-size to fit what's being aggregated to the home site? e.g., I have a "Company Intranet" as my Hub site and an HR site where I'm making New Hire news posts/announcements from (Note: the same question applies when posting News/Announcements directly from the Hub "Company Intranet" site). I'd rather not have to limit the Contributors to always making the photo 194x110 - it'd be nice if it just always auto sized to fit the thumbnail space allowed on the Hub site. Thoughts?
