Calendar View to Outlook?

I have a standard SharePoint list for appointments where management would like this in their Outlook calendar.  As the list is not a "calendar" app, I know we can create the Calendar View and that works great.  Is there a way to share that view into Outlook?  Or what would be the best way to handle this?  I am thinking they want more control, like printing or viewing a daily calendar.  Also, is there a way to limit permissions to contribute only?  I cannot restrict EVERYONE from contributing, but I do not want EVERYONE to see the list.
