in modern you can use a Group calender (from Groups and Teams), a events list from a template or a custom list with a calender view...but all of them don't have an overlay, this feature is not available on modern.

What I'm trying to achieve is a calendar view of tasks, derived from a list where the tasks are plotted on the calendar based on their start/end dates in the list, and are colour coded to the individual assigned or the project they relate to. Is that doable with those modern features? In classic I used a list and then created calendar views in that list, and overlayed them on a calendar app to show them in different colours.
How do I achieve that in modern?
