Building a company intern online shop?
Hi,
I am a not so skilled SharePoint user and my Boss asked me if we could build an "internal online shop" .
Background: we would like to offer the articles (e.g.: IT terminals, telephones, headsets, printers, smartphones, VPN, etc.) for the employees by means of a "shopping cart".
Here the department can carry out its order and see exactly what can be made available to it and what it costs it either once or monthly.

AnnetteTerzan There are several ways this could be done. Probably the easiest way would be to create a form in Microsoft Forms for the user to fill out with the details of the items they are requesting and, via Flow, this could be saved automatically to a SharePoint list pending approval and a confirmation email sent back to the user.
The other way would be to create a PowerApps form with text boxes, dropdowns, or perhaps a datatable of items, plus a running total of the cost of their selections and so on. This would certainly look good but would take more work to produce as PowerApps can get complex.
So if you are not experienced with PowerApps you might want to consider the Forms approach and then come back to the forum here for help with the flow steps.

Yes, the "forms"-solution is the "easy way", that I considered too. I will ask my Chef, if this is "enough". Not with- fill-out-fields but with selection lists and a flow for an approval. I am working on another flow at the Moment, so I think Flow is not the problem.
I think he wants the "big solution" with an "article list" and a sum of the costs and for that I think forms is not "big enough".... so I think I must dive into PowerApps.
But I will ask him if he wants the "quick solution" or if he wants me to invest a lot of learning ;)

- Yep, I don't see why you cannot build this using SPO as your backend and PowerApps / SPFx to build the FrontEnd of the Shop

Thank you.... then I will ask my admin to allow me to use PowerApps (can't see them at the moment) and will see if I can deal with it....
What is SPFx? I admit that I am a nearly newbie......
Are there some tutorials anywhere how to work with it?- SPFx = SharePoint Framework. In the internet there is a lot of informaiton about SPFx
