Bug? - Comments Web Part on Modern Page Template enable automatically upon Auto-Save

Hi Team,

Did some digging around online and haven't found anything on this.

I have some modern page templates saved with the comments section disabled. When I use the template to create a new page, the comments automatically turn on when the page auto-saves. Is there any way around this so that users don't have to remember to turn comments off for these particular templates?
