block or delete list item entries on specific dates

Hello,

i got a request and they asked if there is a way to block or delete entries on a specific date.

For example we have a calendar where users add their days when they are in Homeoffice. Some of them do this in advance or add a series like every Monday.

On some of the dates there are public holidays, so they do not want to have a home office entry on those days.

Is it possible to block those days? Or is there a way via a PowerShell script to check if there is a home office entry on a public holiday day and remove the home office entry.
