Bing Maps key in SharePoint Online

Hi,

Modern pages have a web part for Bing maps and modern event page shows a map image based on geolocation field value. On that page, you can easily get Bing map key and of course to reuse it for custom web parts. Is that key is allowed to be used in my custom web parts because I couldn't find any information that it is not allowed?

    Saulius Laurinaitis - If you want to create a custom web part leveraging Bing developer capabilities, you need to invest in your own API key (of course). The fact that with JavaScript you can "acquire" someone else's API key doesn't give you implicit permission to use it.

      I actually got an answer from Bing team that I can use Office 365 SharePoint Bing API key until the application stays in my Office 365 tenant.
