Best practise for Recurring calendar events to stop exceeding threshold

Hi,

Can anyone provide guidance on the best way to have reoccurring events in the Calendar that assists in stopping or reducing the threshold that when reached you can access the reoccurring event.

Currently when attempting to access the reoccurring event I get this message

I've created a flow that deletes entries that are 180 days old, but the only issue is it deletes the entire events for reoccurring ones past the current day.

Is the only way is not set the reoccurrence length to 'No End Date'.
Create a new calendar for the room and have it as a yearly one so it 2023, 2024, etc

Work in a Mental Health organisation and these events are weekly and on-going for a various of departments
