Automatic SharePoint Storage Management

This is more an open ended question regarding to the automatic storage quota management in SharePoint Online.  We have this Admin setting to manual and works well for us as we can exercise more control. We at not sure we like seeing artificial 25TB site collection storage limits for all site collections while loosing some control on those heavy storage consumers.  Has anyone switched to the automatic storage quota management and is this something you would recommend? Thanks
