Authentication using legacy protocols

So exchange is retiring legacy authentication protocols next year, which leaves sharepoint the only office 365 service using legacy auth. We are developing a new app with integration to sharepoint online and the question is whether we could stick with using legacy protocols for a few years, or should we invest the additional development time now and get started using modern auth? • Modern authentication is turned on by default for SharePoint Online. *Edit. Perhaps I was too fast in the first reply. Think I get what you mean re-reading your post as we have the Set-SPOTenant settings available. If possible you should definitely go for the investment and drop the legacy part, as the use of modern authentication will vastly increase the overall security posture.
