Audience Targeting (Modern Quick Launch)
I could have sworn this was fixed and working recently, is it messed up again?
If I have a Modern page/library, I navigate to the AreaNavigationSettings.aspx page. I set my menu options up (folders, sublinks, etc), and on some folders / sublinks I apply an audience (pointed at a SharePoint group).
But everyone (outside of the audience) can still see the links.
- Its not an audience, its a SharePoint group.
You can use either a legit "audience" (which does update once a week), a SharePoint Group, or an AD/AAD Group
