Attach file in Quick Edit mode
SharePoint 2007 allowed adding attachments to list items in Datasheet view. However, with SharePoint Online (Modern / Classic view) I do not get any options for attaching items in Datasheet view.
Is there a limitation or I am doing something wrong? I am the site owner where the list is created.
- SharePoint 2007 Datasheet view and SPO one are completely different and I think current SPO view is not providing the same features you are mentioning for SharePoint 2007 Datasheet view...so my guess is that this functionality you have described is simply not available

Yeah. I think that is what I can see from other posts also. Basically ealier versions of SharePoint used ActiveX to control the data sheet view which now have been replaced with HTML 5/JavaScript.
