Any Way to disable Bulk Editing
Is their any way to disable the new Bulk Editing feature?
We disabled the Quick Edit on a list because we have custom forms to enforce business logic. Now MSFT rolls out this Bulk Edit feature and users can bypass all business logic.
Bulk Edit should be disabled if Quick Edit is disabled.
Also , we should be able to configure a group (or a permission level) that is enabled to use these features. (SiteOwners, or people wit Manage List Permission).
IMHO Bulk Editing should be disabled if Quick Edit is disabled.
People with Manage List permissions should always have both options, no matter what the setting!

Hello,
is there any update on this? We have the similar problem, users can bypass business logic of our SharePoint list with bulk edit.
I also believe that if Quick edit is disabled, also Bulk edit should be disabled.
Or does anybody know about any workaround? We have to disallow users to edit list items in any other way than using PowerApps form.
Thanks

Russell Gove, this seems to be a bug to me (List setting says "Specify whether Quick Edit and Details Pane can be used on this list to bulk edit data. ). I will report to MS team.
As a fix, you may try using SPFx extension to hide the details pane.
