Analyse filetypes and file duplicates
Hi community
is there a way to check all files located in sharepoint?
- File extensions
- duplicates
- ...
Reason: we have stored about 3.1 milion files with a total amout of 10TB
I will reduce this. now I search a way to analyse the stored files.

- Works fine with Content search in Microsoft Purview

- Finding duplicates can be done using scripting but the gain is likely to be limited. You may get a bigger reduction in storage by looking at the document versions. They count towards your storage quota.
