Always view SharePoint Properties in Word documents by default?

I am not aware of any native options in SharePoint Online that do this. It would likely require SPFx development or a third-party add-in (I'm not a developer so I can't say for sure what it would take).

But if you don't mind sharing, what is the "why" behind this need? Maybe there's another native option that would give you what you need.
