AD live organizational chart in sharepoint
Hi all I need live organizational chart from AD that would be on SharePoint site so any employee can click and see positions. I see there are some post about it but I didn't find the solution. I...
There isn't anything built in per say to SharePoint. But anywhere a person shows up on a page via people web part, or as modified by / created etc. You can hover over the names / photos and then you can click on the hover card photos which will have an "Organization" tab as well via SharePoint. This you can dynamically click through to see reports / managers quickly.
If you want something build into a page you will either have to go 3rd party, or you can use the powerapps webpart, and go create the organization browser sample powerapp, and use that inside a page powerapp webpart which will kind of work as an org chart but nothing fancy.
Hyperfish has an org chart solution, and there are a few others out there if you want to get fancy and not build your own.
