Accessing modern group in SharePoint
I noticed a new group named 'Modern Group' in SharePoint but it doesn't appear in all settings. It appears as one of the default groups when I go to Manage access whilst sharing a folder.
I have created a new document library and have removed inheritance from the parent site, including owners and have added other users manually. However, owners within the modern group still have access to this library and folders even after detaching this library from the parent site. If I go to advanced permissions, this modern group doesn't show anywhere so I can't manually delete or edit this group.
I can't see this groups on the admin portal and I can't remove them if I go to advanced settings within a site.
Can someone please advise on how to remove this or edit the modern group membership?

SharePoint groups and modern groups are two different entities ? As I can access the SharePoint groups from site permissions but not modern groups as I can't see those at all under the advanced permissions section of the site permissions.

Access modern groups through the team site portal or directly via URL. If you do not have sufficient permissions, please contact the administrator.
