childishbambino Ideally when you turn OFF quick edit settings from list settings, it should be applied to all users using this list. Try this:
- Create another test list in your site and see if you can replicate the same issue in test list.
- Raise support ticket with Microsoft: Get M365 support
Do you want your users to go to SharePoint and see the list items but they should not edit items? If you don't want users to access the list from SharePoint UI, you can make your list hidden from SharePoint UI using PowerShell (Note: CRUD operations can be done on list using API calls, Power automate, etc.)
